ToiletTree Oral Irrigator Review

I had never heard of an oral irrigator before when I discovered the ToiletTree Oral Irrigator and I thought it would be a great product to try so I was very happy to have the opportunity to review it!  My teeth have gone down hill since I started having children and I have actually lost s portion of one of my molars which means allot of flossing!  I also have sensitive gums though so floss is not my best friend.

My first attempt using this unit was a bit  humorous.  I had already heard to make sure your mouth was closed when you start so that was fine but i must admit that I did end up watering the wall at one point because my instinct was to take the unit out of my mouth before turning it off. whoops!  So the bathroom got cleaned as well...

The oral irrigator has three settings so you can have high or low power water spray as well as a pulse option for massaging your gums.  I always use the high power spray with no problems.  To use you simply fill the reservoir with water(note: you need to use just a trickle of water to actually fill it up while attached and just opening the little door or you can unscrew the reservoir portion and fill t that way)  I was actually surprised how well it works and have not had to use floss since receiving!

My only slight complaint with this unit is that you have to refill the water reservoir during use and one fill does not seem to do my whole mouth but again very small complaint as I wouldn't want the handheld unit to be any bigger and it is not hard to refill!  Overall i love the oral irrigator and would definitely recommend to anyone.  Would be especially useful for people with braces!!!

  1. I've never heard of a product like this before, but my husband was just getting on my case for not flossing enough - my gums just throb all day when I do. This sounds like the perfect solution!
