Costume review Wholesale Costume Club

We are just at the beginning of getting into Halloween with our Boys. We took the oldest out for the the last couple of years and last year he really started to enjoy it and was excited to wear his costume and go get candy and now with our second being over two we are expecting a very fine day!  

I was super excited when I go the chance to do a review on some costumes from Wholesale costume Club!  I choose a Woody Costume form the Toy Story movies and a dinosaur costume.  My boys are very into the Toy Story movies so I think they are really going to be excited about their costumes!  I am not showing them yet though as then they will want to wear them every day for the next month and a half!!

I absolutly Love the Woody costume.  It comes with a hat and even little boot covers so it looks like they child is wearing little cowboy boots, but are really wearing their regular shoes.  It is quite a thin costume but stretchy which may be needed for our usual snow for Halloween.  I am pretty sure we will be able to fit a snowsuit under it if needed. May have a bit of a plump Woody but he will be warm :)

We also really like the dinosaur costume.  It is warmer and good quality.  All one piece and zips right up the front so that is perfect for a two year old!  it is also very cute and he will LOVE it!!  I did have a little issue with the zipper being sewn on upside down but the great customer service offered me a discount on our next purchase or a replacement, and because I am able to sew I went with the discount as I am sure we will use this site again and it was an easy for me fix!  Thank you very much Wholesale Costume Club!

I have found the coolest shoes there are!!  Yeppers!! and they are called Zipz. 
What the heck are ZIPZ???  well they are sneakers that zip apart so that you can change the top to another color thus making a whole other pair of shoes! They are interchanged shoes!!!  You pick a sole and a top and zip them together to make your shoes!  Are you a bit on the crazy side pick two different tops and you have mixmatched shoes!  These shoes are truly a must have for those soon to be back to school styling kids of all ages!!!

How to make "pages" on Blogger.

To make pages on Blogger that update as you post you need to:

1. Go to new post and click all labels you want as pages. now publish.  When you look at your post it will say labels then all your labels .

2. Open 2nd window of your blog (just makes it easier) go to design

3. Go to layout

4. Add a gadget

5. Little box pops up, scroll down till you get to link list and add

6. Little box pops up now go to other blog screen and click on your first label copy the URL

7. Paste URL into the New Site URL spot

8. Give it a name (this will be the page name) ie Giveaways

9. Add, but don't close

10. Go to the next label on the other window and repeat steps 6-9

When you have added all your labels you can move them into the order you want and hit save. now you can move the gadget box where ever you want it.  Mine is along the top header spot on my blog.

Note your posts will go to your home page and to your link list page.  Then you can adjust hoe many posts you want to show on main page I show 1 or 2.

Bath Blocks Review

I have 3 boys so of course they LOVE blocks and bath time!!  So I was thrilled to receive the  Coast Guard BathBlocks set from Just Think Toys!

These blocks are made of a dense foam that sticks together great when wet!  And they float! You can stick them to the wall and build up whatever you want or even make a floating town or boat!  We received a set that included 17 blocks, a helicopter and a coast guard boat.  Dipping BathBlocks in soap or shampoo suds increases their stick to tub walls and other blocks dramatically!  I love that the boys are learning about balance, structure and cause and effect with these blocks!  Helps to add one more element of learning to our day which the teacher in me loves. 

I was also happy to learn that the BathBlocks are made from bacteria and mildew resistant EVA and contain no PVC or phthalates!!  This is very inportant to me because nothing seems to stay dry in our bathroom and things always end up in one of the kids mouths!  BathBlocks also won the Oppenheim Gold awards!!

My boys love them and they are the new favorite bath time toy!  I love to let my boys use their imagination to see that they can come up with and blocks are a great way!  Regular bath toys are fun but don't bring in the building aspect that my boys seem to love so this toy was perfect for them!  They also love that the set came with a helicopter!!  So Fun and a few little fights over who's turn it was to fly the helicopter. Sure Glad there was also a boat! They have been busy building towns and landing their helicopter.  They actually have been asking for a bath since we received this set!  What more could a Mom ask for!

Zuko Quick Pop Maker Review

If  there was ever a product a mommy needed on a hot summer day this is it!!!!!
Do I have your attention???What is it you may be asking well sit tight and be amazed!!

I am talking about the Zoku quick pop maker!  I received mine and literally have used it everyday!!  The Zoku Popsicle maker is a little unit that you put in your freezer, then when you want a Popsicle you pull it out pour in your liquid and within 7 to 9 minutes poof you've got yourself a Popsicle!!  We have made smoothie pops, juice pops, even rainbow pops!  I really loved having it when the boys were sick cause I made a really healthy smoothie with some buckwheat honey (known for its healing qualities and something the boys won't touch with a ten foot poll) thrown in and they gobbled them up! 

I received the three Popsicle unit and I was a bit concerned when I first open the package because it seemed like the Popsicles where going to be huge. I don't allow my children allot of sugar and really limit juice. However the first time I used it I found that you really don't need much juice to fill up the molds and the Popsicles come out quite slim.  Perfect for a special treat for the little ones!  The only thing I might possible change about this product would be to make a 6 spot circular Popsicle maker as the width is wide for little munchkins mouths but guessing they need to have the thinner wider ones for the fast freezing.  Also it does take up a bit of space in your freezer, we only have the small fridge top freezer but I still make room for my Zoku!!
Each Zoku kit includes 6 plastic pop sticks, 6 drip guards, and the Super tool which you twist on to pull out the quick pop.  The zoku can make up to 9 pops before it needs refreezing but each set may take a bit longer to freeze.  It is super fun to make rainbow pops or even to sick thinly sliced fruit in to make fruity pops! 

Overall I LOVE this product and would recommend to anyone with kids and a little freezer space.

Granite Gold Shower Cleaner Review

I have to admit that I have been putting off this post a bit as I tried the shower cleaner from Granite Gold and thought it was OK it smeels fresh with a nice not over powering lemon scent and works, but I mean you still had to use a little elbow grease to get the shower clean.....I thought I`d wait and try it out once more before posting my review but as I was waiting I noticed something that really made me VERY happy!

PlasmaCar review

I was very excited to receive the yellow Plasmacar for a review and the verdict is........I LOVE my Plasmacar!! 
I was a little concerned that Big Boy wouldn't be big enough to use the Plasmacar as he is just three and a half, but the age limits on the box say from ages 3 to 103 (love it and i`d love to see a little grandma riding down the road on one of these) So we gave it a try.  The Plasmacar is a self propelled ride on toy for all ages. You simply use a back and forward motion moving the steering wheel with your hands and away you go! Very easy to use.

The first time we brought it out for the boys they were excited but didn't quite get it.  I made Daddy give it a try to show them and Big boy seemed to get the idea but was still a bit hesitant (he is an ere on the side of cation kinda guy)  But they did have a lot of fun and a few fights just using their legs to push and drive around.  And they talked daddy into taking them for rides down the sidewalk as well.  Fun times :)!!
Then when we came out to play the next day and Big Boy went straight for the Plasmacar; sat on it and said "hop on brother lets go for a drive".  Both Big Boy and Middle Munchkin jumped on and had some fun.  Then Big Boy wanted to take it out front on the sidewalk and...... away he went!  He was so happy to get it moving on his own!  Now he is a pro and wants to go for a drive every time we head outside!

I love that the Plasmacar has such a long seat as it does allow both big boys to ride together and because it has a weight limit up to 220 pounds can fit mommy and daddy too!  FUN!  I also love that it is so easy to use!  Big Boy is just at the stage of getting trikes moving on his own (but is now to big for the trike) but is not quite ready for pedaling a two wheeler so this was a great way to let him be able to get going on his own and still include Middle Munchkin in the fun!
