Strawberry shortcake was my very favorite character growing up and I was very surprised when I saw they brought her back and even more surprised that my boys also enjoy the show.  They also LOVE music and therefore the Doodlebops!!

This musical adventure takes audiences to the whimsical land of Berry Bitty City where the whole town is buzzing with anticipation for the Glitzy Glaze Talent Show. Follow along as Strawberry Shortcake and the rest of the girls each prepare for their moment in the spotlight.
To double the fun, Koba Entertainment is bringing together Strawberry Shortcake and the wackiest siblings on television, the Doodlebops, for the first time ever in one spectacular show!
Before the girls of Berry Bitty City hit the stage, warm up your singing voice and stretch out your dancing muscles with the Doodlebops! Responding to calls from their legions of clamouring fans, Rooney, Moe and Dee Dee Doodle will take to the stage in a live concert performance that will get the whole audience movin’ and groovin’.

  We will for sure be checking out the show and hope to see some other Calgarians there as well!!

Baby GUND Lolly Giraffe Review

I was in LOVE when I had the opportunity to do a review on the new GUND Lolly Giraffe.  It is so sweet in the pictures but I was very surprised when I opened the box to find how soft it is!  It is the perfect size for a baby to enjoy and plays our favorite lullaby (hush little baby) too. 
I love how soft it is and it is completely baby friendly with sewn eyes but my favorite part is that it is a good old wind up musical toy!  Yes that's right no batteries!  you wind up the with the little knob at the back and it plays the sweet tune.  My children all love music, but as a mommy on a budget spending all the money pumping batteries into alllll their toys is a bit of a pet peeve for me and the musical toys for helping baby's to sleep seem to go threw the larger size and priced batteries very fast!  It also sways it's neck as the music plays which makes it even more enticing for baby!

The Wendy's High School Heisman Award

Continuing your education after high school is not always easy, and these days with raising prices it is sometimes not possible for some students at all!  I remember graduating and receiving a few small scholarships and being so very thankful because it would at the very least get me started in to a career that I could love.  Without my scholarships there is a large chance that I would not have continued me education. 

This is why I was very excited to come across a scholarship program that I wanted to share with my readers.  It is the Wendy's High School Heisman Award and it was made for Honoring the top high school scholars, athletes, and citizens in the country.  This program was started in 1994 and since has honored 400'000 students with scholarships and recognition for their achievement. They also select the National High School Heisman Winners during a broadcast on ESPN for these wonderful students get some well deserved recognition for all their hard work and achievements.  What a great way for Wendy's to honor these students and their hard work!

Ingenuity by Bright Starts Easy Wash Playard Review

I recently received the Ingenuity by Bright Starts Easy Wash Playard to review and had to tell you that as a mom of soon to be four I am THRILLED that they made this product!!!  To truly understand the benefits of a washable playard you have to know that you can not wash the old playards..well you can take a bucket and cloth and wipe them down but try doing that to get poop or puke out of all the little spots!  Yes i know gross but if you are a parent you've been there and if not just you wait!!!

Cloth diaper reviews are coming soon!!! Since I am going on my 4th and still have 2 in diapers I have decided to give it a go and throw my hat in the cloth diapering Momma's ring!!  So far I am a little scared and a little excited....and mostly already getting addicted to what they call the Fluff!!  Any Cloth diapering Momma's out there want to offer me any advice?? Tips? Tricks? also how the heck many do I need for hopefully diapering a newborn and a 1 year old??? Hopefully the two year old will be potty trained by then...we are slowly working on it :)

I was very excited to have the chance to do a review on a pair of glasses from the online glasses store Firmoo.  I have seen online store before but have to admit that buying a pair of glasses seems like a you have to go try them on kind of experience.  This became even more daunting when it wasn't glasses for me I was picking but glasses for my husband!!!  I went onto the Firmoo website and clicked on a few different options to narrow my selection of glasses and came across these frames that came with their matching magnetic sunglasses.  I was happy to see that you are able to see a few different people with different facial structures wearing the frames, picked one similar to my husband and took the plunge and ordered...and....he loves them!!!  

These glasses came with plastic lenses that were done with a prescription fit for his eyes from his eye doctor here in Calgary.  I was impressed buy the fast shipping and extremely impressed by the quality of the frames and accessories   I spent over $300 on a pair of frames alone that look identical to these and didn't even come with the nice hard case or accessories!!!

We received the prescription glasses, the case, drawstring bag sunglasses clip on, cleaning cloth, and adjustment tool all included!!  

Not only does Firmoo offer fantastic products at great deals if you are a first time costumer you can get your glasses free you just pay the shipping!!  If your a returning customer they always have great prices and offer deals!  They even have designer glasses!!  I recommend checking out Firmoo next time your in the market for a good quality pair of glasses at an even better price!
