Well we have just finished up the second week of school and now I am just waiting for the inevitable ...oh Mom...I need a...... The Teacher says I need a .....Yes this is only my first year of school but remembering back to my school days and hearing family of recent school age children complain I know it is coming if i`m lucky not in Kindergarten but it is coming. It is the time where the children have settled into the rhythm of things and then stop and realize their friend has this and it is soooo much better then what they have or the teacher says if you have one of these it would be great if you could bring it and use it at school.
I have heard recently of a student being told that they needed and iPod for school ...no I`m not joking!!

I recently had the opportunity to test out the new 7 inch Samsung Galaxy tab 3 and I think it is perfect for the students in your life!!
It is not to big, so it fits easily in your bag or purse and has so many helpful apps!! I especially love that it is a great size to read books on and is a perfect weight (only 0.661 lbs) for ease of use.
The Tab 3 runs on the Android 4.1 Jellybean system and is 8GB, but is expandable up to 64GB. It uses WiFi to access the Internet which is widely available, and comes in a sleek white color. The Tab 3 has a multi touch capacitive screen and I have never had any problems with it not feeling me :) I LOVE that the battery life lasts for 7 hours of use as my boys LOVE to play angry birds (and learning games of course) on it and Momma needs to have some time to read or play too!
The Tab 3 has a rear camera with 3 MP and a front facing camera with 1.3 MP this is the only area that I wish was upgraded as i love to be able to take quality pictures with anything that happens to be in my hands but for most people they are probably not worried about picture taking so would not be bothered by this.
The Tab 3 comes with a charger that is adaptable to charge through the USB on your computer or plug directly into the wall. As well as a quick start guide and a warranty safety guide. The Tab 3 is so easy to use that I did not even need to open the quick start guide as I turned the Tab on and it guided me through the steps to set it up and personalize it for me. LOVE easy to set up devices!!!
I think this Tablet would be great for any student! It is the perfect size to slip in their bag, it is nice and light and with a price point at staples of only $199 it is an affordable way of providing a quality brand and the technology our children now need to have the most success in school!
