The cloth journey has taken me through pockets, all in ones and all in two but then my boys started to get bigger and grow and with growing come ingesting more and of course peeing more and our nigh times were becoming harder and harder to stay dry and comfy. This is why I started to look into hybrid fitted diapers and wool soakers or covers. I was excited to come across The is Sew Me Organics and her super cute diapers and covers and was so excited to give them a try!
This Is Sew Me Organics is a company started by a Canadian WAHM who chooses only natural and organic materials to work with to make her products. She chooses fabrics and takes care to ensure long lasting and comfy diapers. This Is Sew Me Organics offers wool and fleece covers, diapers, momma cloth and other natural living accessories.
I was sent a super cute diaper that is made from Organic cotton, Organic Bamboo, Charcoal Fleece and even organic cotton thread! I was so excited to put a diaper that is so natural on my boys bum and with all the wonderful properties of Bamboo I knew they would have no rash issues! The diaper is not water proof so you do need to use a cover with it and there are great options to choose from!
This is the Inside of the diaper. It has snap in soakers and comes with two. The small one snaps onto the larger and then they snap into the diaper making it easy to customize the level of absorption you need. We use both for overnight :)
The wool cover I was sent to test out is made with Organic merino wool interlock and if you think wool and think itchy think again! This material is so soft and cozy! The cover was made for my older DS3 and is a bit big as he is just on the cusp of the larger size but works great and has room to grow! I love that the cover came ready to use and already Lanolized as I am new to wool and loved that I could start using it right away!
The great thing about wool is that it is anti bacterial and self cleaning so you can use it many times before you need to wash and re lanolize it which is great!! It doesn't even smell which was amazing to me!
So the verdict.. I think I am in LOVE with fitted's and Wool!! DS3's bed was dry and he was happy!
