Having your first or a new baby is a wonderful time but can also be a stressful time, with all the things you might need for baby piling up and weighing on your mind it can also be overwhelming! In Finland the government helps families through this time by sending each family something called a baby box that contains many needed and useful items that baby will need. The baby box has been around for awhile and many mothers from other parts of the world have heard and thought what a great idea it is but we could never get something like that till now!
The Baby Box is a company from United States that creates baby boxes filled with many wonderful items that every new mom will need or want as well as some great resources and items to try out.
I was very excited to get to review a Baby Box for our new little girl who arrived at the end of August!
At my first thought I loved that the box is not just a plain box but has a very cute elephant pattern on it, we always want something cute for baby! I opened my box and was so excited to find so many items! My box included an Aden & Anis swaddle blanket, two bibs, a diaper shirt, wash clothes and small towel, a very sweet little bear lovey, a package of soothie pacifiers (which are the ONLY pacifiers that any of my children have ever taken, and I tried many!) a pair of scratch mitts,socks, a little hat, some very nice smelling baby wash,2 magazines filled with great information, breast pads and even a bottle of nail polish to make mommy feel pretty! The little box was also filled with coupons and samples from many great companies.
Then top top(or bottom) it off the bottom of the box has a very nice mattress with sheet in it so you can safely use the box as a great little bed for bay to sleep in! I was going to use my baby box as a place to put baby when we were downstairs but the mattress in the Baby box is so much nicer then the one we have in the bassinet that I prefer to use it all the time!!
I was Very impressed with my baby box and think that any new mom would love to receive such a thoughtful and useful gift!!
