It is so important to me to try and make sure my children are breathing fresh clean air as much as I can. I often have my windows open airing out the house even in the middle of winter (although in Calgary this is a short time lol) and try to have humidifiers going during colds and flu's.
But one place I have never thought to clean the air is in the car...I recently had the opportunity to test out the Sharp Plasmacluster ion generator for vehicles and have to say we love it!! I had not really noticed that the car had yucky air, well except in the hot summer months when it is that stall hot smell. I know hubby sometimes smokes in the van when we are not with him as he uses our vehicle for work and have noticed a slight smell from that often. I never liked that the kids went into the Van if I noticed smoke smell but never though beyond that.. Well now I defiantly think beyond that as now our van smells...like...well nothing!
You simply plug the Plasmacluser ion generator into your cigarette outlet in you car and it conveniently fits in the cup holder. It has two intensity settings and works to purify the air in the cabin of your vehicle with positive and negative ions (the same ones we find naturally) It sends out a shower of ions that cleans the air and reduces allergen like mold, allergens and viruses. It not only refreshes the air quality it also deodorises interior fabrics as well! This was something I hadn't thought of but sure could notice after a few days!
Our van is a 1998 model so it has been around and is not the nicest inside or out but the Plasmacluster generator has made a huge difference for us. I am now happy to drive my children in our vehicle knowing that the air quality is improved and their breathing issues (like asthma and allergy's) will not be effected by being in our van. This makes me one Happy Momma!
You can find the Sharp Plasmacluster ion Generator on the Sharp website and find it for sale on Amazon and Future Shop as well as at Home Comfort Centre in Richmond Hill(www.sharpfilters.com).
